1. Purpose & Application

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules and restrictions governing the use of Menuvyn's digital menus, live ordering tools, marketing broadcasts, and hosting infrastructure. By accessing or using Menuvyn, you agree to abide by these guidelines. Failure to comply may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Menu Content & Offerings

You agree never to upload, promote, or sell through Menuvyn any items or content that:

• Illegal Products & Substances: Unregulated narcotics, prescription drugs, tobacco products without statutory health warnings, or illicit goods prohibited by local or international law.
• Wildlife & Protected Species: Any meat, seafood, or culinary products derived from endangered or legally protected wildlife.
• Deceptive or Fraudulent Dishes: Intentionally misrepresenting dietary claims (e.g., falsely advertising non-halal items as Halal, or presenting non-vegan food as Vegan).
• Explicit or Violent Imagery: Pornographic, obscene, excessively gory, or defamatory graphics, text, or promotional posters.
• Infringing Material: Using copyrighted photography, trademarked logos, or brand assets belonging to third parties without express written authorization.

3. Ethical Marketing & Anti-Spam Guidelines

Menuvyn provides customer lead capture and SMS/email marketing features. To protect diners from unwanted spam and maintain carrier deliverability, you must strictly comply with:

• Explicit Consent Only: You may only send marketing broadcasts to customers who willingly entered their contact details and opted in through your verified Menuvyn lead form or dining checkout.
• No Purchased or Scraped Lists: Importing third-party contact lists, scraped directories, or unauthorized databases into Menuvyn is strictly prohibited.
• Honor Opt-Outs: You must immediately cease messaging any recipient who replies STOP, unsubscribes, or requests removal from your mailing list.
• Appropriate Timing & Frequency: Limit broadcast messages to reasonable business hours and avoid excessive message spam.

4. System Integrity & Security Protections

You agree NOT to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts, computer systems, internal admin panels, or database networks connected to Menuvyn.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent any authentication, rate-limiting, or security feature.
• Transmit any viruses, worms, malware, trojans, or destructive code.
• Execute automated crawlers, scrapers, or bot scripts against digital menus in a manner that degrades system performance or burdens edge infrastructure.
• Bypass or manipulate subscription entitlement checks, feature gates, or payment gateway verification webhooks.

5. Custom Domain Name Usage

When connecting a custom domain or subdomain to your Menuvyn restaurant profile, you agree not to configure domain names that impersonate other brands, infringe upon recognized trademarks, or contain defamatory or deceptive words.

6. Monitoring, Violations & Reporting

Menuvyn reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to monitor menu content and broadcast patterns to verify compliance with this Policy. We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account found in violation.
